FAQ.
WHAT IS CROSSFIT?
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program based on a series of varied functional exercises performed at high intensity.
This improves strength, resistance, speed and many other factors leading to improve overall health and wellbeing.
WHAT TYPE OF EXERCISES DO YOU DO?
All classes include warmup, strength, technique and physical conditioning. Every day we do different functional exercises – squats, lifting weights and other similar movements.
One day you could squat (basically stand up and sit down) repeatedly, and the next day you could pick up something heavy from the floor.
DO YOU DO EXERCISES WITH MACHINES?
We don’t use machines. The only machine is our body, and we make it better every day by practicing these exercises.
Workouts are different every day so the body can’t get use to a routine. All you have to do is put in 100% every day, that’s the challenge – are you ready?
DO I NEED SPECIAL EQUIPMENT OR CLOTHING?
Your body is all the equipment you need! Regular gym clothes, sports shoes, a towel (if you want to shower) and a bottle of water – and you’re good to go. We have fully equipped locker rooms.
I’M NEW TO THIS – IS THERE A PROGRAM FOR STARTING OUT?
We offer a Fundamentals program to discover the basics of CrossFit.
This will prepare you for the intensity of the regular WODs.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN EACH CLASS?
In CrossFit Kudasai we want to help each person achieve their objective.
For that reason our classes are limited to 14 people so our Coaches can monitor and help every athlete.
We believe bigger groups can’t be monitored and helped sufficiently, and that can result in frustration for the athletes, limited progress and, in extreme cases, injury.
